LEATHER + ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This project required the creation of a leather good that was completely branded and co-branded with a non-profit organization. Elements of the project include an entire brand description (including positioning information, marketing strategies and market research), specific product pricing (based on business costs and revenue), product tech pack, and packaging/branding relative to the product.

SANGUINITY
" We are a sustainably responsible company that believes in producing the finest quality products possible. It’s pretty much that simple. That means not only do we source the most ethically produced leather we can find, but we also make all of our products here in the US as well. We believe in supporting local businesses and promoting sustainable practices in order to feel good about the things we purchase and wear. We do well by doing good + love sharing our passion with our customers.
We partner with several education programs to get the word out about sustainability and how awesome it is. We believe that once you know more about sustainability and responsible practices within the fashion industry, you’ll be as passionate about it as we are and want to become more involved. Start something with us!
At its core, sanguinity embodies celebrating life in the moment and a spontaneous spirit. Simple, functional, and versatile, these bags carry only what you need, allowing for endless adventure and moments well spent. While minimalist in shape, they are not shy of detail or design, letting our customer feel good about what she wears, all while looking fashionable and enviable. Inspired by natural formations in nature, this specific piece is hexagonal in shape (thanks to wet forming), is comprised of natural veg-tanned leather, and is hand-stitched together using waxed linen thread. TAILORING
Inspired by silhouettes from the 1960's and the ever changing climate, this coat is made using traditional tailoring techniques and applications and is intended for transitional seasonal shifts. It features a large versatile funnel neck, contrast fabric welt pockets, sloped shoulder shaping, and interesting seaming details. Content: wool + spandex.
EVENING WEAR
These two dresses focus on different applications of the idea of beauty + confidence. My interpretation of beauty is something personal and unique to each person - beauty is relative, in my opinion, to each individual's characteristics + traits, and being able to feel comfortable with those. The Red Dress project focuses on the asymmetrical aspects of beauty and highlights the form in a unique way. Opposing that, are the ideas of symmetry and vulnerability + exposure as seen in the black evening gown. Each garment consists of intricate hand stitching, advanced patterning, boning + structure, and full linings.
PRINT + PATTERN | KALEDO
Inspired by organic impressions of water + ice, this original print reflects skills developed in Kaledo. Other elements of this project included a weave and a knit, as well as conceptual research + accompanying flats.
